What gives the Acura Integra its high-level performance is its 1.5-Liter VTEC® Turbo engine that comes standard. It generates 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. If you opt for the race-inspired “Type S” variant, then you get an upgraded 2.0-Liter VTEC engine with a Dual-Axis Strut front suspension. Its output is an impressive 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
Drive Modes
With the push of a button, seamlessly switch between drive modes for optimal performance and fuel efficiency. The modes include:
- Sport – provides optimal throttle and steering response
- Comfort – delivers a comforting driving atmosphere with white ambient cabin lighting
- Normal – for everyday driving with just enough throttle response
- Individual – provides a number of customized driving features
- Sport+ – provides aggressive engine growls through the Active Exhaust Valve
Transmission Options
With the Type-S, a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission comes standard. For optimal performance, the manual shifts up to 7,000 rpm. Combined with the Large front Brembo® monobloc brake calipers, the transmission delivers effortless shifting.
With the base model, choose between the six-speed manual and a CVT transmission. The latter includes race-inspired paddle shifters that you can control with a quick finger tap.
