Storage Capacity
In the rear of the Acura MDX is 15 cubic feet of storage space, easily accessible via the Acura tailgate. With a simple pull of a lever, you can fold the third-row seats down to expand the storage space to 45.1 cubic feet. If you need more space, fold the second-row seats down the same way for a total of 90 cubic feet storage.
Additional Storage Space
On the left side of the cabin is a cubby hole large enough to hold a six-pack can of soda. This is adequate for securing smaller items like a purse.

Storage aside, passengers will also appreciate the spacious interior. The second- and third-row seats have 38.5 and 29.1 inches of legroom, respectively. Both the second- and third-row seats also have similar headroom at 38.1 and 36.2 inches respectively.
This is more than enough room for taller passengers to ride in the rear without feeling cramped. This holds true even when the vehicle is at maximum seating capacity with the driver and six riders.
